'38 million years in the making'

The wine-making is carried out with as little intervention as possible by Jeff Sinnott using the traditional techniques of Burgundy and Alsace, with subtle use of oak.

Cellar Door

Our cellar door is the 'Vintner's Drop' - a Waitaki Valley regional wine tasting room in the Old Post Office in Kurow. Here we offer Ostler wine tastings and retail sales; also sales of most other Waitaki Valley wines.

From Labour Weekend to Easter we are open from Thursday through Sunday, during the peak summer season we are open 7 days.

During the winter we are closed for tastings and bottle sales except for group tastings which are available by prior arrangement.
