Also from the Crosbie's single vineyard in the Waitaki, the perfect complement to our estate-grown Audrey's gris. An elegant pinot gris of minerality, delicate aromatics and some acid balanced by a higher residual sugar.  A classic of the variety, in the style that New Zealand is becoming renown for - off dry with palate weight and texture.

Winemaker Jeff's Comments: The wine shows a subtle array of ripe stone fruits, especially white peach and has some lovely baked apple characters that evolve with time in the glass. The palate is subtle but equally refined with similar stone fruit and apple characters keeping the wine consistent through to a long dew-drop like finish. We have kept a trace of residual sugar to add palate interest and enhance the wine's drinkability. We are confident that this wine has the structure and concentration to age well.

Alcohol 12.2%;  Residual sugar 14.4g/L;  Titratable Acidity 8.4/L

The Grower Selection
