Bright, pale salmon-pink, even colour throughout. The nose is soft and restrained with aromas of watermelon, strawberries and a little savoury thread of lees. Medium-light bodied, dry to taste, nuances of watermelon, red berries melded with pear and rose water. Fine-textured phenolics and savoury lees create a silky flow; refreshing acidity brings a dry, moreish finish. This is a classy, dry and textural rosé. Match with dry-cured charcuteries and confit tomato over the next 2-3 years. Fermented to 13.8%, 3.8 g/l RS. 18.5+/20 pts (94 pts) July 2021
